The week
| Day 1 | Read the summary. Five key ideas and where the book overreaches. |
| Day 2 | Choose today's Highlight. Choose one Highlight for today and write it down before you check email. Bad day: Write one sentence: “Today's Highlight is...” |
| Day 3 | Schedule the Highlight. Put tomorrow's Highlight on your calendar as a specific block of time, and protect it. Bad day: Book a 30-minute calendar block for tomorrow's Highlight. |
| Day 4 | Drain one Infinity Pool. Delete or log out of the one app that most often pulls you away from your Highlight. Bad day: Move your most distracting app off your home screen. |
| Day 5 | Make your phone boring. Turn off all notifications except calls and messages from people, and remove every non-essential app from your home screen. Bad day: Turn off notifications for three apps. |
| Day 6 | Energize for the Highlight. Do one small thing for your energy today, timed to help your Highlight: a short walk before, water and protein instead of a snack, or an earlier night. Bad day: Stand up and walk for two minutes before your next focused task. |
| Day 7 | Reflect and choose your tactics. Write a short reflection on the week: which Highlights happened, which tactics helped, and which you'll keep. Bad day: Write the one tactic you'll keep and why. |
