- Play long-term games with long-term people.
- Happiness is a skill.
The week
| Day 1 | Read the summary. Five key ideas and where the book overreaches. |
| Day 2 | Find your specific knowledge. Write down three things you do that feel like play to you but look like work to others. Bad day: Write one thing people regularly ask you for help with. |
| Day 3 | Audit your leverage. List what you produce each week and mark which items keep working after you stop. Bad day: Write one task you repeat often that you could turn into a reusable guide. |
| Day 4 | Make one thing that scales. Spend 20 minutes making one small piece of media or code that could help others without you present. Bad day: Write the title and three bullet points of something you could publish. |
| Day 5 | Name your long-term people. Write down five people you'd want to work with or learn from for the next ten years, and contact one. Bad day: Send one person you respect a short, specific thank-you note. |
| Day 6 | Examine one desire. Pick one thing you strongly want right now and write down how much of your peace it's costing. Bad day: Write one desire and whether you'd want it if no one knew. |
| Day 7 | Sit for ten minutes. Sit quietly for ten minutes with no phone and no goal, then write one line about what came up. Bad day: Sit for two minutes with your eyes closed and just breathe. |
