The week
| Day 1 | Read the summary. Five key ideas and where the book overreaches. |
| Day 2 | Spot your fixed-mindset moments. Write down three situations where you tend to avoid a challenge, get defensive, or feel threatened by someone else's success. Bad day: Write one sentence about a challenge you've been avoiding and why. |
| Day 3 | Name your fixed-mindset voice. Give your fixed-mindset voice a name and write down what it usually says. Bad day: Name the voice and write its most common line. |
| Day 4 | Add “yet” three times. Catch yourself saying or thinking “I can't” or “I'm not good at” three times today, and add “yet” with one next step. Bad day: Write one “I can't... yet” sentence with a next step. |
| Day 5 | Praise the process. Give three people specific praise for effort, strategy, or improvement rather than talent. Bad day: Send one message praising how someone approached a task. |
| Day 6 | Ask for real feedback. Ask one person for specific criticism on something you've done recently, and write down what you'll change. Bad day: Send one message asking for one thing you could improve. |
| Day 7 | Take on one stretch. Pick one challenge you'd normally avoid because you might look bad, and take the first step today. Bad day: Write down the challenge and the date you'll start it. |
