The week
| Day 1 | Read the summary. Five key ideas and where the book overreaches. |
| Day 2 | Write your why. Write down the people, work, and experiences you're living for right now, as specifically as you can. Bad day: Write the name of one person and one piece of work you're living for. |
| Day 3 | Choose your response. Pick one difficult situation you're in and write down the attitude you choose to take toward it. Bad day: Write one word for the attitude you'll bring to your hardest situation today. |
| Day 4 | Ask what's being asked of you. At three points today, stop and ask: what does this moment ask of me? Bad day: Ask the question once, right now, and write the answer. |
| Day 5 | Do one deed for someone else. Do one concrete thing for another person today that takes some effort and expects nothing back. Bad day: Send someone a message offering specific help this week. |
| Day 6 | Find the meaning in one hardship. Write about one past hardship and what it gave you that you wouldn't have otherwise. Bad day: Write one thing you learned from a hard time in your past. |
| Day 7 | Commit to one meaningful work. Choose one piece of work or creation that matters to you and do the first hour, or the next hour, of it this week. Bad day: Write the name of the work and when you'll give it an hour. |
