The week
| Day 1 | Read the summary. Five key ideas and where the book overreaches. |
| Day 2 | Make a list of what you already do. Write down every habit you do on a normal weekday, from waking to sleep, and mark each with +, -, or =. Bad day: Write down the first five things you did this morning and mark each +, -, or =. |
| Day 3 | Decide who, then pick one vote. Write one sentence that starts “I am the type of person who...” and choose the smallest daily action that proves it. Bad day: Finish the sentence “I am the type of person who...” in your phone's notes. |
| Day 4 | Write the when and where. Attach your two-minute habit to something you already do every day, and write it as one sentence. Bad day: Write the sentence “After I ___, I will ___” and stick it where the anchor happens. |
| Day 5 | Change one thing in the room. Rearrange one space so the good habit is easier to start and one bad habit is harder. Bad day: Move one object: put the cue for your new habit where you'll see it first thing tomorrow. |
| Day 6 | Start a tracker. Make a simple habit tracker for the next 30 days and mark today. Bad day: Draw a row of seven boxes on a sticky note and fill in the first one. |
| Day 7 | Plan for the bad day. Write what your habit looks like on your worst day, then do today's repetition. Bad day: Do one repetition of the habit right now and mark the tracker. |
